Pirate Parenting
**Please note the tongue in cheek humor of this post** If you are looking for a new way to raise your kids, try "Pirate Parenting". You won't be hearing Dr Dobson or Family Life Today recommend this book for raising your kids, but it is an entertaining parody of the multitude of books on "child rearing". You don't even have to buy the book. Check out the website PirateParenting.com and download the free E-Book. You will get a great laugh or two from this book. (but I wouldn't really use it to help raise your kids, this is for humor only).

It's funny, but my son Joshua, who is a Lego enthusiast, and I were just talking the other day about the future of building houses out of Legos. Here is a link to more photos of this amazing feat.

There are specific areas on the site to look up stimulus projects, TARP recipients and earmarks that your legislator has requested. This website is a good way to stay informed with how the government is spending money, especially when we get closer to the next election.
