Name Brand v. Store Brand




Consumer Reports recently did a double blind taste test between name brand food products and store brand products. And if you are someone who buys store brands, you won't be suprised that many store brand items are as good or better than national brands. I am rather frugal and will almost always buy the store brand over a national brand. And while I think there was a time when store brands were not as good, I don't notice much of a difference in store brands versus national brands. And with the tough economic times we are in, it is always great to save some money, especially when quality is not sacrificed.
