DailyTech - Nokia Offers Bicycle-powered Phone Charger

DailyTech - Nokia Offers Bicycle-powered Phone Charger
Do you remember when they had lights on bicycles that were powered by the front wheel? I remember riding my dad's bike that had one. I remember the "whirling" sound of the generator as I sped up or slowed down. And when you slowed down the light would go out. Well, Nokia is taking that technology and making a great new product that will charge your cell phone while you ride your bike. This product is intended for countries where bicycling is a major source of transportation but should eventually trickle down to the US and Canada. If you ride your bicycle to work or school, this would be a great tool to keep your cell phone charged while saving on electricity.
