Microsoft has now jumped into the Free virus protection software market. Security Essentials is a FREE program that replaced Microsoft's fee based "Live OneCare" security suite. According to Consumer Reports (read their report here) the software is easy to download and has a very user friendly interface. Now, if you already have anti-virus software this is not needed.
