Local internship programs
Is your business in need of an intern next year that will not cost you any money? Are you a high school or college student looking for a paid internship? Community Ties can help. This is a program organized by the Michigan State University Extension to help connect students in rural areas of Michigan with internships. It is currently available in Grand Traverse, Marquette, Oscoda and Otsego Counties. Business have until December 1st to register and students have until December 18th. If your business is selected for an intern, the U.S. Department of Agriculture will pay the intern through a grant. Find out more about the program at CommunityTies.US.
